  • University education (economics, banking, technical specialization)
  • More than 10 years of experience in structured financing for large corporates, ideally in energy finance department
  • Working experience abroad combined with good knowledge of Czech Energy environment is an advantage
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Autonomy, sound analytical skills
  • Team player
  • Languages: Fluent in Czech and English, French is as an advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS Office

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of a team of 4 Energy finance specialists
  • Elaboration of the bank strategy for Energy financing in close consultation with other concerned departments in the bank (Coverage, Risk, Legal, Finance etc.)
  • Lead role in the origination of transactions in Energy finance (identification of new potential business opportunities and prospects, initiation and participation into client meetings, conferences, sector groups, etc.)
  • Management and supervision of the execution of energy finance transactions:

- Definition and elaboration of appropriate tailor-made financing structures attractive to clients and offering adequate risk protection;
- Pricing elaboration and promotion of ancillary business
- Preparation of credit application requests and lead role in interactions with Risk department as well as Arm management

  • Monitoring of the renewable energy market and of regulatory environment
  • Coordination and cooperation with mother company/group on large transactions
  • Overall in charge of achieving satisfactory commercial and financial results within area of expertise
